The paper smoothness tester is a specialized instrument used to detect the surface smoothness of paper and paperboard. It is an intelligent paper and paperboard smoothness performance testing instrument designed and developed based on the working principle of the internationally recognized Buick Bekk type smoothness tester. Suitable for use by papermaking enterprises, printing enterprises, quality supervision bureaus, and scientific research institutions. It is not suitable for measuring paper and cardboard with a thickness greater than 0.5mm or high air permeability, as a large amount of air passing through the test surface can affect the test results. At present, the paper smoothness tester is designed based on the GB/T456-1989 Method for Measuring the Smoothness of Paper and Board (Buick Method), and is used to measure the smoothness of paper and board. But it is not suitable for measuring paper with a thickness of 0.5mm or greater or with high air permeability. The main performance characteristics of the paper smoothness tester are: 1. Oil free vacuum pump: imported vacuum pump is used, and the vacuum pump can work without refueling; 2. Designed with a cam and spring structure, the microcontroller automatically controls the synchronous motor rotation, loading pressure, and paper clamping during measurement; 3. Adopting a 7.0-inch large screen color touch LCD screen display, Chinese and English menus, and real-time display of various data; 4. Good sealing performance: Adopting foreign vacuum sealant and advanced sealing technology to ensure that the sealing performance of the instrument meets the requirements of national standards and regulations; 5. Two sided difference test: By selecting the two sided difference test mode, the two sided difference of the same batch of samples can be tested and calculated; 6. High degree of automation: The instrument design adopts advanced devices, and a single chip microcomputer is used for information sensing, data processing, action control, and data memory; 7. Quick measurement: You can choose to use "automatic gear" or small volume chamber measurement. Under "automatic gear" testing, the measurement time will not exceed 200s, and the measurement time for small volumes is only one tenth of that for large volumes, achieving fast measurement; 8. Data communication: The paper smoothness meter is equipped with RJ45 network interface and USB interface, and users can transfer data to the server through Ethernet TCP/IP protocol or directly connect to the computer through USB cable. The instrument has WIFI function, and users can transmit test data to the computer through the upper computer software through a router and generate reports.
